It’s time! The Global Influencer Marketing Awards will be returning with a flashy new rebrand this September.

The GIMA are the premier awards show in influencer marketing and the creator economy, where the industry’s brightest minds gather to celebrate the top players and campaign successes of the last year. 

We’re also coming back with a new twist: our Grand Prix awards. More on that later.

Why the GIMAs matter

In 2026, the creator economy is growing faster than ever. It’s one of the most innovative industries on the planet right now.

Now in its eighth year, GIMA is the global benchmark for creator-led marketing excellence. It’s your opportunity to recognise the trailblazers in our industry, sharpen agency positioning and signal real commercial impact.

As our founder, Matthew Wood, puts it:

“Over the past eight years, we’ve watched influencer marketing move from experimental to essential - from buzz to accountability. As the industry has matured, the expectations have too. So the GIMAs have evolved with it.

New categories!

We’ll be introducing three shiny new categories up for grabs this year:

  • Most Creative Influencer Campaign 
  • Best Influencer-Led Commerce Campaign 
  • Best Entertainment, Gaming & Music Campaign 

We’ll also be launching the Grand Prix Awards. For 2026, the Regional Grand Prix awards replace the previous regional entry categories.

Rather than being open for direct submission, these honours are selected from the strongest medal-winning campaigns across the entire programme, ensuring each Grand Prix represents true regional excellence.

The GIMA Global Grand Prix is chosen from all confirmed Gold-winning work and is awarded only where the jury agrees it sets a new industry benchmark.

Grand Prix awards cannot be entered directly, and cover as follows:

Americas Influencer Marketing Grand Prix 
Selected from shortlisted entries, recognising regional excellence across North and Latin America.

APAC Influencer Marketing Grand Prix 
Awarded to the leading campaign in APAC selected from a medal position across all the awards.

EMEA Influencer Marketing Grand Prix 
Awarded to the leading campaign in EMEA selected from a medal position across all the awards.

Global Influencer Marketing Grand Prix 
Awarded to the single most outstanding campaign globally.

About the ceremony

We’ll gather again on the 3rd of September this year at the luxurious Londoner Hotel, renowned for hosting top-tier events like London Fashion Week and the BFI Film Festival. It won’t be one to miss!

Deadlines

Your earlybird deadline is the 26th of March, so get cracking on those entries for the best deal. But don’t worry, you’ll have until the final deadline of the 14th of May to submit for an award.
