With the final deadline for the Global Influencer Marketing Awards rapidly approaching on the 21st of May, the clock is ticking. If you are feeling the pressure, breathe. Realistically, a single, standout entry should take less than two days of planning and one full day of dedicated writing to execute.

To help you get your submission across the finish line without sacrificing quality, we’ve broken down the ultimate speedy submission strategy into four manageable stages.

1. Plan

Before you type a single word of your narrative, you need to lay the groundwork. Efficiency at this stage saves hours of rewriting later.

Download the Entry Kit: Head to the entry portal immediately and download the category guide. Knowing the exact criteria the judges are looking for is half the battle.

Select your campaigns
Review your recent work and pinpoint the exact case studies you wish to showcase. Crucially, identify why they were successful.

Align categories with campaigns
Do not try to force a square peg into a round hole. Look at your chosen case studies and match them to the categories where their specific strengths will shine brightest.

Secure partner consent
Reach out to your brands, creators, and agency partners for sign-off today. Waiting on legal or talent approval at the eleventh hour is the most common reason brilliant entries get pulled.

Get budget sign-off
Ensure your finance team is ready. An entry costs £695, but leaving it until after midnight on the 14th will incur a £50 late fee.

2. Prep

Once the strategy is set, gather the essential administrative details. Having these on hand will make the upload process seamless.

Campaign title (15 to 20 words)
Make it punchy and include every party you wish to be credited. Remember, this is exactly how it will appear on the shortlist and on the night, so double-check your spelling.

The credits
Clearly identify the Lead Entrant (the one who gets the trophy), the Brand or Client, any Supporting Agencies or Tech Partners, and the Primary Creators.

Market and dates
Define your region clearly, whether that is EMEA, APAC, the Americas, or Global. Most importantly, ensure your campaign dates fall strictly within the eligibility window of 1 January 2025 to 29 April 2026.

3. Write

Now it is time to craft your narrative. The judges read dozens of submissions, so your writing needs to be crisp, compelling, and concise.

Draft it to cut it
Write freely in your first draft, then ruthlessly remove any text that is not completely necessary. Cutting the fluff allows the bones of your entry to stand out.

Tell a story
Do not just list facts. Craft a narrative with a clear challenge, a brilliant strategy, and a triumphant result. Make it an engaging, supported, and enjoyable read for the panel.

Back up your data
Assertions mean nothing without proof. Use hard metrics, context, and benchmarks to support your entry and provide undeniable evidence of success.

Remove the jargon
Our industry loves buzzwords, but they can alienate judges. Introduce and explain all acronyms and brand-specific vocabulary on first mention.

4. Polish and evidence

The final step is all about presentation and accessibility. This is where you elevate a good entry into a winning one.

The layperson test
Pass your entry to someone outside of the influencer marketing industry to read. If they can understand the hook, the execution, and the results, you have done an excellent job.

Creative output
Provide one to five direct links to the actual creator content. The judges need to see the "craft" and creativity of the campaign in action.

Ceremony assets
Prepare for the win. Upload a 10-second, 16:9 video or a high-resolution Hero Image that can be used by the production team during the awards ceremony.

Avoid password protection
Check, double-check, and triple-check your links. Ensure all supporting files are completely accessible. If a judge cannot open your evidence, they simply cannot score it.

The extension deadline is your final opportunity to gain the global recognition your team deserves. Block out your calendar, follow this formula, and get your entry submitted. Good luck.
