As each day passes more of you will be departing for your Christmas break. Whatever you decide to do in these difficult circumstances, stay safe and well.

We have much to look forward to for 2021. With two new journalists starting with us, in addition to four further recruits across the business, we don’t intend to slow down and look forward to presenting a fresh editorial strategy and direction for Talking Influence during Q1.

In fact, rather than slowing down – we are growing! – With the Influencer Marketing Show, Global Edition returning and a brand new top-secret event launching in the New Year.

I know many of you will be curious about our live events next year having pivoted to digital our awards and conference. What I can say is that they will be taking place, we just don’t yet know whether they will be live in-person, hybrid, or presented via a virtual studio.

We are confident we’ll be able to run the Influencer Marketing Show in October at Old Billingsgate, London. However, we will continue to monitor COVID vaccine progress and government advice for our show in New York and the Influencer Marketing Awards ceremony.

Whatever fate decides, it won’t stop us recognising exceptional work. That’s why we’ll be releasing 2021 Influencer Marketing Awards categories in January and we’ll be extending the deadlines for a significant period.

The partnerships team will be reaching out with opportunities in the New Year to cover all bases.

I’d like to thank each and every one of our partners who have supported us during the pandemic. As an events company we’ve been hit hard but are in great shape and eager to make 2021 a success.
