Brands can collaborate with co-authored tweets

We have recently seen Instagram's successful launch of collaborative posts, now Twitter is following suit with its own collaboration feature. The feature is yet to become publicly available, but its rollout will present greater opportunities for brand and influencer collaborations on the platform.

Conversations and predictions have been made online suggesting that the introduction of this feature hints at plans to ‘give creators a way to partner with businesses on brand ad deals — something that’s already common on rival social networks like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and others’ - according to TechCrunch.

It’s positive to see Twitter taking steps in this direction by expanding its features that allow for collaborations to take place on the platform, which is essential if it wants to solidify its place in the influencer partnerships landscape like its counterparts Instagram and TikTok have.
