Amazon’s Fall Sale Rises to New Record

Last week, Amazon held its ‘Big Deal Days’ event for Prime members. Shoppers purchased a lot this time round, with over 150 million items bought from third-party sellers, making it Amazon’s most successful Fall sale ever.

According to Amazon, the best-selling categories were apparel, beauty, home, and toys. People also spent less this month than they did during July’s sale. On average, each order during the October sale was around $53, whereas in July, it was about $59. People spent around $124 per household in October, down from $182 in July.
