Year on year, the affiliate channel evolves, takes on new challenges, and finds new areas of success. The past year has seen influencers play a larger role as publishers in the channel, the rise of live shopping in APAC, the short-form video’s domination of digital content, and the tail-end of lockdown continuing to affect the industry.

So, what will the terrain of 2023 look like for affiliate marketers? There’s sure to be a whole array of new innovations and hurdles, especially with recent news of Google’s plans to become a sort of publisher in its own SERPs, which may completely shake up the coupon/voucher code space.
