While the day may have been overcast and grey, the evening was colourful and splendid at the Grosvenor House in London last night, as we celebrated the industry’s stand-out players and everyone’s hard work at the 18th edition of the Performance Marketing Awards.

As ever, we were more than proud to host such a fabulous evening, honouring the achievements of the UK’s performance and affiliate marketing community and partying in style together.

We’ve been doing this for 18 years now and last night was one of the best yet with a stunning level of innovation and creativity demonstrated throughout the winners. The past year has seen many agencies, tech partners, publishers and start-ups try something new, experiment, and take risks; the outcomes have been huge, reflected in numerous winning entries on the night.

Let’s get into the big winners.

Who took home the trophies?

Uniqodo reigned as the night’s champions, securing three awards in specialist categories: Best Technology and Telecoms Campaign, Best Technology for Retailers, and Together We Solved That. When it comes to performance marketing technology, Uniqodo is truly setting new standards in the space.

OMD UK also enjoyed a prosperous evening, locking down two trophies for two different campaigns across Best Integrated Performance Campaign and Best Paid Search Campaign. The agency’s collaborative and creative approach dazzled our judges.

Affiliate.ai won gold in our new category ‘Best Use of AI in Affiliate Marketing’. Our judges were floored by the platform’s dedication to innovating effective AI tools specifically for the affiliate space.

Brainlabs also scored big in a new category: Best Experimental Campaign. Developing an innovative AI solution, Brainlabs drove superb results while breaking new ground – something our judges love to see.

Awin picked up the coveted Affiliate Network or SaaS of the Year award. Rosalyn Berrisford, Regional Managing Director at Awin, said “It’s very special, it’s the one we always look to. It’s the award that encompasses everything we do, so it’s a really special one for us.” Awin’s platform enhancements over the past year really stood out to our judges, making them worthy winners in this category.

Finley Mcinerney, Partnership Manager at HotUKDeals, won the prestigious Industry Rising Star award. Mcinerney said about his win, “It hasn’t set in yet. I think tomorrow it will set in and I’ll think, ‘Oh, I won that award!’. I’m buzzing.” Mcinerney has made a stellar impression on his colleagues and our judges. From turning an unnoticeable vertical into one of the company’s best performers, to showcasing a talent for managing partnerships, Finley’s success has seen him quickly climb the ladder at Pepper and earned him this award.

We would like to once again extend a massive congratulations to all of the winners, our esteemed judges, and everyone who attended and made the evening so memorable.

See you again next year!
