New research commissioned by data company, fifty-five, reveals that many businesses are at risk of receiving hefty fines of up to tens of thousands of pounds from the Information Commissioners’ Office (ICO) for breaching GDPR requirements.

In the survey, more than half (54%) of the 500 marketers state that they have not set up a Consent Management Platform (CMP), which is critical for managing consent in line with legal requirements, and 47% believe that they do not need one.
