TikTok Will Allow Influencer Marketing Agencies to Access First-Party Data

The process for influencer marketing agencies working with influencers on TikTok is becoming more seamless thanks to the rollout of the TikTok Creator Marketplace API. Marketing companies will be able to integrate more directly with TikTok’s in-house influencer marketing platform.

Now, marketers will be able to access all that the TikTok Creator Marketplace has to offer, including first-party insights, to more effectively plan, execute and report TikTok campaigns.

The Creator Marketplace launched in 2019, allowing marketers to discover the best influencers for their campaigns, as well as accessing tools to manage campaigns and track their performance.

The new API will be officially announced later in September, but this soft launch is allowing TikTok’s alpha partners to discuss their early work. The API will allow partnered marketing companies to access TikTok’s first-party data about audience demographics, growth trends, best-performing videos, and real-time campaign reporting for the first time ever.
