How a Lawsuit Between Creators Could Change the Influencer Landscape

A lawsuit between two creators has the possibility of changing the industry forever.

Creator Sydney Gifford filed a lawsuit against another creator named Alyssa Sheil this year, accusing Sheil of copying her “neutral, beige, and cream aesthetic,” and posting content with “identical styling, tone, camera angle and/or text.”

Gifford claims Sheil “directly replicate[s] the products, poses, and/or styling” of Gifford’s content.
