Starting on 30th August, instead of the swipe-up link option, Instagram says people will be able to use link stickers within their stories. The tappable stickers will serve the same purpose as swipe-up links, leading users to external websites.
Instagram says this change is being put in place to “streamline the stories creation experience” and allow for more “creative control,” as users will be able to format the way the stickers look to fit their own style or brand.
