The Q2 2023 IPA Bellwether Report is here and it brings good news for partnership marketing, but a somewhat ominous outlook on the near future for UK businesses.

The second quarter of 2023 has seen total UK marketing budgets increase, driven primarily by sales promotions. More than one in 10 (13.4) of the surveyed companies reported an upward revision to sales promotions budgets in Q2 – a record-high in the report’s history. These revisions arrive in response to dwindling consumer spending amidst the cost-of-living crisis.
