Google has announced that ads are now live in the ‘AI Overviews’ sections of search results.
During a markedly controversial year for Google, AI Overviews have been one of the company’s most divisive launches.
While the search giant asserts in a blog post that users of AI Overviews are “more satisfied with their search results”, it has drawn vast swathes of criticism from content publishers, SEO writers, and even users.
