TikTok has declared some changes to the platform for European users, which will come into effect by August 28, 2023, in response to the demands from the Digital Services Act (DSA).
The European Union is continuing to enhance user privacy on social media platforms this month. Recently, the organisation pressured Meta to comply with regulations that allow users to opt out of behavioural marketing on the company’s platforms. Not only this, Meta has already received a temporary ban from Norway’s privacy watchdogs and is facing potential bans throughout the EU.
