Amazon is a name that often strikes little pleasure to the heart of the affiliate. 

The e-commerce monolith has historically not treated affiliates very well. While Amazon Associates is one of the most popular and easy-to-apply-to programmes out there, it typically yields low rewards for affiliates. It’s notorious for switching the commission rates on categories and offers 0% commission on some of them.

However, it seems that is all about to change. Suddenly, Amazon may become an affiliate’s best friend.

This is all thanks to Amazon’s new Seller Referral scheme. By driving traffic to their Amazon stores, brands can now receive bonuses from the platform itself. Many are investing that money back into the affiliate channel to drive more traffic, and more conversions – meaning  the results for both brands and affiliates are huge.
