The Committee of Advertising Practice (CAP) has formally recognised and voted to appoint the IMTB as a full member of the self-regulatory body. 

CAP is the sister organisation of the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA). It writes the rules for the UK Advertising codes, which are then enforced by ASA.
