Every year, the performance marketing arena expands and becomes more vibrant, achieving greater successes and pioneering new frontiers. This progress can be attributed to the remarkable efforts of exceptional individuals, teams, campaigns, partnerships, and cutting-edge technologies that set the pace for the entire industry.
Over the past 12 months, we've witnessed a clear impact on businesses due to the rising cost of living and the ever-increasing influence of technology in our field. Both of these factors have played a pivotal role in shaping some of our newly introduced categories this year. We've observed a shift from an exclusive focus on growth to a greater emphasis on efficiency, coupled with a growing appetite for innovative processes and campaigns.
While the challenges may be daunting, let's work together to build team morale, credibility, and profitable partnerships at the upcoming Performance Marketing Awards!
New categories for a new age
Next year’s awards will see five more brand new categories added to the list, in order to fully celebrate our evolving industry, its ongoing innovation, and the trendsetting trailblazers who make it all possible. These new categories are:
- Best Full Funnel Strategy
- Best Experimental Campaign
- Best Use of Dynamic Commissioning
- Best Use of AI in Performance Marketing
- Performance Marketing Fair Play Award
Alongside the new categories, we’ve also introduced some revisions to existing categories for this year, with ‘Best Content Commerce Campaign’ being repositioned as ‘Best Content Partnership’, and ‘Best Programmatic Campaign’ evolving into ‘Best use of Programmatic Ad Buying’ to encapsulate CTV and other ad buying opportunities.
These introductions and changes reflect the continuous expansion of the performance marketing landscape as it embraces new tech, tools, and ideas such as AI, a surge in the integration of the retail media platform, and an extension into the widely embraced CTV sector.
