DealMaker Europe is back for 2023, as Rakuten’s networking event returns to London on Thursday 29th of June, from 9.30am - 5.00pm, taking place at The Brewery, with a grand After Party to finish the day on a high.

With a major focus on affiliate optimisation, networking, and community, this year’s DealMaker aims to be the event made for making connections, and it seems like a good place to do so, as over 1,500 meetings take place at DealMaker each year according to Rakuten Advertising.

Through the ‘Networking Community’ tab, attendees are welcome to view the event agenda, see who's speaking or sponsoring, and schedule one-to-one meetings with other guests in order to bulk up their schedule for the day. With attendees including publishers, advertisers, and innovative marketing leaders, the day-long event offers guests the opportunity to connect with representatives from hundreds of companies, and if you’re lucky, make some deals, too.

The day’s agenda will include product demos, huddle table networking, and multiple sessions on affiliate challenges, the global economy, campaign strategies to outperform for your business, and more. This is on offer, alongside the many network breaks throughout the day.

Here are some sessions we're excited about:

  • ‘Around the World in 40 Minutes: How to stay competitive in a fast-moving global economy

This session, hosted by Ian Jindal, CEO of RetailX, and Kim Marks, SVP of Global Strategy and Commercial Operations at Rakuten Advertising, will explore consumer trends and the strategies to leverage that will help brands join the ‘global elite’.

  • The Affiliate Funnel: The Path Less Travelled

Attendees are invited to join Rakuten’s publishers to uncover how different affiliate models, that traverse traditional and emerging channels, can be used to effectively find, convert and retain customers.

After a productive day of deal-making and networking, the day will come to an end with the European Golden Link Awards 4-5pm. Now in its fourth year, Rakuten’s Golden Link Awards celebrate and showcase all of its advertisers, publishers, and agencies who are out-performing in the space.

With the ceremony included in attendees’ DealMaker tickets, it will provide further opportunities to network and celebrate the industry alongside a like-minded community.
