It was on a splendidly sunny day in London that we welcomed hundreds of attendees into the glorious Grosvenor House for a warm evening of celebration, applauding all of the hard work the performance space has put into this past year, and giving special recognition to the stand out players.
We couldn’t be more proud and pleased to have brought you the Performance Marketing Awards for its 17th year, and to continue watching the space grow into the diverse, full-funnel approach it is today.
Who took home the trophies?
Optimise Media was the biggest winner of the night, taking home a total of three awards. The affiliate network won the trophies for: Best Managed Affiliate Programme; Best Programme Launch or Migration; and Best Finance Campaign. For the latter category, judges commended Optimise Media’s innovation and technology.
As always, many of the evening’s winners displayed a dedicated effort to improve the space and expand its horizons. TrafficGuard picked up the award for Best Performance Marketing Technology, after impressing our judges with its tackling of PPC fraud, a historic pain-point for performance marketers.
Similarly, Awin won the coveted Affiliate Network of the Year award for its consistent devotion to providing more convenience to publishers and advertisers in the space.
Who came out best in brand new categories?
This year, five new categories were introduced to the awards. Partnership of the Year went to LTK and Abercrombie & Fitch, who joined forces again to target the UK market, after smashing it out of the park with their last US campaign.
Our judges were wowed by Itineris and Bristows, winners of Best B2B Campaign, with one calling it “an ingenious and clever strategy”.
Kepler and PHD picked up the trophy for Partnership for Good, after delivering a thoughtful and well-rounded campaign highlighting the difficult subject of financial abuse.
Rakuten Advertising took home the trophy for new category Together We Solved That. Our panel was dazzled by its Strategic Launch Package, which accelerates brands’ implementation time by three times.
And LiveRamp secured the award for Best Technology for Retailers, winning over our judges with its data-fuelled marketing solution – an entry point for retailers and brands into the lucrative retail media channel.
