Now in its 17th year of awarding excellence, the Performance Marketing Awards will return to London’s glamorous Grosvenor House on 11th May to celebrate the outstanding activations taking place in the affiliate marketing and performance media spaces. But who will take home the coveted trophies?

After much anticipation and deliberation, the esteemed judging panel have made their decisions, and the official PMA 2023 shortlist is now live!

Along with the increasing entry volume, each year, the quality and innovation of the entries submitted skyrocket too. This year was no exception. Long-standing judging panel veterans and first-time pioneers joined the Hello Partner team last week to discuss, debate, and decide which lucky entrants would take home the winner’s trophies and highly commended accolades at this year’s ceremony.

Kudzai Mubaiwa, Head of Performance Media at Spark Foundry UK, and experienced panel member said, “It was impressive to see such a range of entries in this year’s PMAs. It just showed that the work that is happening across the board is continuing to innovate and really shape the industry as a whole.

“We had a number of debates in the sessions showing how strong all the entries were. Congratulations to all those shortlisted and hope to see you all at the ceremony to celebrate the wins!”

Jared Field, Head of Performance Marketing at Ted Baker, has sat on the judging panel throughout his career in the industry, and this year, he said, “The creativity and innovation demonstrated by the submissions were truly impressive, and I was particularly pleased to see the use of first-party data included in many of the entries. Witnessing companies adopt first-party data into their marketing efforts is fantastic to see, so I have to hand it to them.

“Winning an award can do wonders for a company's morale and I'm sure the winners will rightly feel a great sense of pride and accomplishment. It's always fantastic to see hard work and dedication paying off and I am thrilled to see the PMA continuing to recognise excellence in performance marketing.”

Annie Amusu, Affiliate Marketing Consultant at Affili8, sat on the panel for the first time this year, and said, “I honestly feel that the calibre of entries for this year's UK Performance Marketing Awards were truly impressive and really showcased the exceptional talent and innovation within the UK industry.

“I would like the category winner and nominees to know that with respect to the tough competition this year, just being nominated for an award in the 2023 PMA is a great recognition of the hard work and dedication of the team behind the campaign. I hope that this recognition boosts morale and motivates companies to strive for even greater success in the future.”
