Gen Z Founder and LinkedIn Top Voice Dylan Huey has never taken the leap from a 9-5 to a business owner: he’s always been on his own entrepreneurial path.

From starting content creation at 14 years old to growing into a Founder and CEO, Huey’s journey has been very different from most Gen Zs.

In this brand-new Hello Partner series, I’ll be in conversation with Gen Z Founders who have a whole new set of tools and obstacles to work with compared with other generations. What makes starting a business in 2026 successful, and how does age play into it?

Sofia Aira: How old were you when you first founded your company?

Dylan Huey: That is a good question. I am in the creator space, so first and foremost, I have been a creator for ten years. I started as a creator when I was 14, started a talent management company when I was 16, and then I started REACH when I joined USC. I was 18 at the time. I officially started the for-profit side of our company at the top of 2024, which would have made me 22.
