Tip of the Week

What's the most creative way you've booked a call with a prospective client?
One unnamed agency went viral this week after a post showed they had mailed a padlocked box of sweets to a potential client. The padlock code would be given only if they arranged a call with the agency.
Reactions varied from delight and support to sharp criticism.
Those who liked the strategy applauded its creativity and human touch. "It's attention-grabbing and shows an innovative approach - I'm sure they got some calls from this," wrote one commenter.
Critics noted that, while witty, the strategy could negatively affect the agency's credibility. Why? One commenter argued that, "Top agencies win business because theyβre really good at what they do. If you have to gimmick your way in, I don't think it's the best start."
Others stated that they would simply smash the box open with a hammer.
Well, what do you think of this strategy? Do you see space for innovative, creative means of getting prospective clients on a call β or is it gimmicky?
