C. Long Term Brand Ambassadors - Hit or Miss? In Conversation with Roo’s Home

While over 80% of brands are now engaging in influencer marketing, only an estimated 30- 40% of brands are fully embracing dedicated, long-term brand ambassador schemes. In this session, The Goat Agency will explain why you need to be. For the past two years, Goat has been cultivating an ambassador scheme with Unilever Homecare UK, working with creators on a long-term basis, with real proof that they drive desired brand results, not just through raw data points like impressions and engagements, but also by fostering positive sentiment and community advocacy. In 2024, Roo’s Home was signed as a year-long ambassador for Unilever Home Care. Due to the exceptional results driven from year one, she has now signed a year two contract – a first across Unilever EU. This demonstrates that Unilever has seen the value of working with long-term ambassadors and the sustained results they can drive.

Speakers - Hannah Rendall, The Goat Agency, Rachel Davies, Home with Roo.

D. Creator Perspectives: Creators Don't Want a Blank Canvas - They Want a Map

Creators have something to say, and it's time to listen. What makes a really strong creator brief? How do you tread the fine line of providing guidance for creators vs a to-do list? How can we make sure creators can perform and feel their authentic selves during partnerships? This talk explores the importance of brand and creator communication.

Speakers - Luke Barnes, Influencer, Caspar Lee, Influencer, Eva Bojitos, Shark Ninja, Thomas Brag, Yes Theory.

E. THE DISRUPTOR’S PLAYBOOK: A No Bullsh*t Session

Traditional storytelling is no longer relevant or effective as people’s attention becomes a scarce resource. The death of the follower, the filter bubble effect, the hyperpolarisation and hyperfragmentation of audiences, are symptoms of a depressed and tired society that is also hyper-active and hyper-productive. All in all, the real social dilemma is that social is becoming the end of social. So, what is next? This session will explore how the creator's archetype is disruptive by definition. And they are the ones leading the future of the industry by challenging the principles of the current algorithm-driven culture. We will discuss how creators, as brands, can spark culture-building connections through participation.

Speaker - Natalia Suniga, The Strategy of Things.

F. Everyone’s Dancing, But No One’s Listening: What TikTok Gets Wrong About Culture

In this high-level presentation, cultural dance educator and founder of Rhythms of the Diaspora, Renée Miller-Reid, unpacks the erasure happening behind the viral trends. From TikTok choreographies to soundbites echoing across social media, African and Caribbean cultures are constantly used but rarely understood. Dancers replicate the moves. Brands use the music. Yet the heritage, stories, and context are stripped away. This session is a call-out and a call-in: a raw reflection on what happens when culture becomes content, and what we lose when visibility doesn’t come with credit. Renée explores how diasporic traditions are being washed out of the conversation even within the dance industry and how creators and platforms can move with more care, context, and integrity.

Speaker - Renée Miller-Reid, Rhythms of the Diaspora

G. How to Make It in the Mainstream - Tips For Creators Breaking into TV & Film

The Mainstream is a digital media platform dedicated to supporting the next generation of creatives. This panel will discuss and give top tips on how digital content creators can work with brands and pitch their ideas to TV, film and entertainment companies.

Speakers - Remel London, The Mainstream, Melissa Quashie, Paramount UK, Natalie Rose, ITV, Stacey Carr, Nickelodeon, Amber Muotto, AMPR.

H. The 5-9 After the 9-5: Balancing Career and Creativity

The traditional 9-5 job no longer defines the full scope of a person’s identity or creative potential. In today’s creator economy, having a full-time job is no longer a barrier, it’s a bonus. Meet Jade Macpepple, a London-based paralegal and rising content creator who’s proof that you don’t have to quit your day job to make an impact online. With over 40K followers and partnerships with brands like H&M and Silverstone, plus titles like Nike Guest Designer and Black Impact Social Media Influencer of the Year, Jade is redefining what it means to be a modern creator. This session explores the rise of the “career-creator” - professionals who are building communities, influence, and income outside of the 9–5. As audiences crave authenticity and real-life relatability, creators like Jade are building stronger trust, not in spite of their careers, but because of them.

Speakers - Peter Bamforth, Digital Voices, Jade Macpepple, Creator
