I have organised a new publisher survey that will shed light on the health of the affiliate channel.
Supported by major networks, platforms and agencies, it is hoped the findings will become an annual state of the nation report to complement the advertiser equivalent launched at PI LIVE 2022.
Focused on the UK market, the survey will expose how publishers are driving revenue for advertisers as well as how the cost of living crisis is impacting their earnings. Other insights will show the diverse range of marketing tactics publishers use to drive clicks and sales as well as uncovering what bugbears they have about the industry.
The survey will also reveal how easy publishers find it to use network platforms and what payment models they’re being remunerated for.
It is hoped that more than 200 publishers will complete the survey from across the spectrum of affiliate activity.
The survey takes around eight minutes to complete and every participating publisher will receive a copy of the results. There are no restrictions on the number of people who can submit their views from individual companies.
The survey can be found on the newly revamped Affiliate Tracking site which also contains the results of last year’s advertiser survey. Under the new name of Affiliate and Partner Content, the site features 2021’s cross-industry tracking guide, as well as the codes of conducts and best practice documentation. The site will continue to be built out over the coming months.The survey closes on May 22nd.
