The TikTok For You House is based in Westfield’s West London site and opens to the public on 22nd July. Aspiring TikTok stats, or those who want to brush up on their TikTok creation skills, will be able to book into sessions with successful TikTok influencers including, teenage creator Kyle Thomas, comedian Ehiz Ufuah, chef Poppy O’Toole and freestyle footballers Jeremy Lynch and Ben Black.
Masterclass sessions hosted by these creators are available to book for £5, and alongside the paid sessions, there will also be free sessions on offer that will allow TikTok fanatics to create TikTok videos in a fun and expertly curated space. As well as these fun opportunities, TikTok wants to put emphasis on the safety of its creators, so will be offering sessions aimed at parents so they can learn more about ensuring their teenagers are safe on the app.
A curated space for you
Four unique rooms in the house will present fresh opportunities to those who attend. The ‘Living Room’ is the main hub of the house, which will be used for sessions on editing, the ‘Kitchen’ will showcase viral recipes and cook-offs, the ‘Dressing Room’ will be home to all things beauty, fashion, and the ‘Garden’ will be open to teach attendees the best sports tips and tricks as well as dance routines to achieve TikTok fame.
The easing of Covid-19 restrictions has thankfully allowed for the opening of this one of a kind venue, enticing those who have been spending a lot of time at home on their electronic devices to revisit shopping centres and high streets, combining their love for connecting and creating on social media with real-life experiences.
Marketing Director for UK events at Westfield, Harita Shah, said: “Having a physical space at Westfield London gives TikTok the chance to immerse shoppers and new creators in a full 360 experience where the best of the online platform merges with a real-life experience.”
Over the next few weeks, we can look forward to engaging in curated and behind the scenes content from the TikTok For You House, discovering the ways the in-person interaction and connection with influencers can allow digital content to excel and present new opportunities.
