It is rumoured that media, marketing and comms business Jungle Creations and influencer marketing agency Goat are in talks about merging into one media and marketing company, which would create an interesting proposition for the many of the brands they both work with.
The merger would bolster expansion into other regions like Asia and the US and would see their annual revenue figures reach over £40 million.Jungle Creations owns the likes of food channel Twisted, Nailed It, and VT, and also runs six London food delivery-only restaurants. As reported in The Drum, Goat would support Jungle’s campaigns with what they do best – data-driven influencer marketing. Goat has created award-winning campaigns for brands such as Formula E, Lidl, and Malibu. Goat launched an office in Singapore in March and has offices in New York and London. Jungle Creations also have offices in New York and London, with a team of around 130.
Earlier this year, Goat’s head of client services Alex Burgess won the industry’s Rising Star award at the inaugural Influencer Marketing Awards, which took place in London in March. Harry Hugo, a co-founder of Goat, has also written opinion pieces for Talking Influence. Both companies are at Cannes this week. As industry speculation continues, Talking Influence approached them but they responded saying they are “just rumours”.
