This week, Levanta announced its acquisition of Perch+, an affiliate network built for Amazon sellers.
According to the company, the deal will provide Perch+ brands with access to over 60,000 vetted partners within Levanta's Marketplace, alongside the platform’s tooling and features, including Paid Placements.
This content partnership model, launched in February this year, facilitates flat-rate creator deals for brands and provides affiliate-level performance measurement.
At the time of the launch, Ian Brodie, CEO and Co-Founder of Levanta, said that the platform wanted to be “marketplace agnostic,” and in March, the company announced it was “unifying” its creator and affiliate programs across Shopify, Amazon, and Walmart.
“By bringing this network into Levanta, we’re expanding opportunity on both sides of the marketplace — more brands for creators, and more creator-driven growth for brands,” commented Levanta’s Brodie.
The acquisition and its focus on broadening creator-brand access comes as the industry moves to close the gap between affiliate and creator marketing and towards full-funnel integration.
“We built Perch+ to help Amazon brands tap into affiliate marketing as a meaningful growth channel,” commented Jason Baer, Chief Marketing Officer at Infinite Commerce, the parent company of Perch+.
He added: “Levanta has built the platform and scale to take that vision much further. We're excited to see the network continue to grow within Levanta.”
