Rakuten Advertising Removes PayPal Honey Browser Extension From Its Network

A source received an email notification yesterday morning, stating that Honey "has been terminated from the Rakuten Advertising network... effective immediately."

The move arrives a week after an amended lawsuit was filed against Honey, alleging that the publisher “repeatedly violated” Rakuten Advertising’s stand down policies.

Tip of the Week

Stay at the top of your game

This week's tip arrives by way of the Awin podcast. EMARKETER'S Principal Analyst Max Willens talks about one secret to success on LLMs: scale specificity.

LLMs thrive on specificity. Users don't just search for 'best hiking shoes', they ask for 'best hiking shoes under $200 for a three-week trek across the Andes'.

What does this mean?

Willens says you need to increase the number of partners on your programme. Instead of a dozen influencers, shoot for three dozen. The same goes for publishers. The wider the breadth of unique voices talking about a brand and product, the more specific the crawlable content will be.

In turn, this helps brands show up more in LLM results.
