PayPal Honey Brings Its Deals to AI Search, Starting with ChatGPT

A PayPal spokesperson has told Hello Partner how Honey’s new AI integration will surface product links and offers right on top of LLM conversations.

The integration is a smart move for an affiliate; they optimise AI search without having to battle it out in the answers themselves for visibility.

It also provides Honey with a great deal of insight into GEO data regarding advertiser visibility and conversions in LLMs – a powerful position to be in.

What's hot on Hello Partner right now

Why Events-Based Tracking Will Strengthen Your Affiliate Programme

More transparency, more trust, more investment.

Too often, the only data affiliates receive is whether they converted or not. “It’s a bit like asking someone to navigate a city with a map that only shows the final destination, none of the optional routes,” says Sage's Alexander Feist.

He explains why sharing more data, and rewarding partners earlier on, helps to build trust, enthusiasm, investment, and results for a more robust, forward-thinking affiliate programme.

Adtraction Strengthens UK Presence with Acquisition of Affiliate Future

The consolidation will begin from November, helping Adtraction build its presence in the UK, and connecting Affiliate Future's clients to the wider European market.

Tip of the Week

Stay at the top of your game

This week’s top tip comes from Cristy Garcia, CMO at impact.com.

In a recent post, she reminds us that marketing isn’t about shortcuts; it’s about connecting with people, not machines.

Cristy called out the idea of creating “spam for LLMs” to get more mentions, noting that while such hacks might give a short-term boost, they erode trust and authenticity.

She draws a parallel to the SEO keyword-stuffing era: it worked for a moment, but audiences and algorithms quickly caught on.

Take a smarter approach. Collaborate with real partners, creators, and affiliates who already have credibility with your audience. True influence and authentic content come from real people, and that’s also the content LLMs actually learn from.
