We’re thrilled to announce the addition of The Voicebox to the Creatorfest agenda, as we continue to facilitate important conversations within the creator economy.
While CreatorFest features a range of insightful sessions exploring the broader creator economy in our main programme, The Voicebox allows us to regroup and shine a spotlight on community-led concerns within our industry.
Each session lasts 45 minutes, providing an informal setting where members of the creator community can engage in thoughtful conversations with a more intimate audience.
If you’ve attended previous events like PI LIVE Europe and the Influencer Marketing Show, you may already be familiar with The Voicebox. The sessions have been a great success and are very popular among attendees, which is why we’re excited for the platform to return to CreatorFest! This year, we’re featuring an exciting lineup of speakers and an Open Mic session.
What’s in Store at The Voicebox
9:30 - 10:15: Post-Paralympic Inclusion: How is the Way We Engage Disabled Audiences Going to Change from Now On?
We’ll be kicking the day off with Purple Goat, a disability-led marketing agency. They’ll be discussing the effect of the Paris 2024 Paralympics, and what we can take forward into 2025 and beyond. What did we learn? What are brands doing better? How do we think about inclusion authentically into the future? Join us to hear insights and ask your burning questions about driving inclusivity in brand activities.
10:30 - 11:15: Safeguarding Mental Health in the Online Space
As content creation grows in popularity, so do the mental health challenges faced by creators. This panel will dive into the importance of mental well-being for creators, addressing how they can protect their mental health while engaging with their audiences. From handling negative interactions to maintaining a creator-life balance, we’ll discuss practical steps to establish boundaries, protect yourself online, and ensure a healthy relationship with content creation. This session will feature insights from Rachel Henderson from Samaritans as well as creators Tatty Lomas and Warwick.
11:30 - 12:15: Navigating Cause-Led Campaigns for Non-Profits and Creators
This panel will be led by Good Roots, a company that drives social impact through strategic collaborations. The session explores the intersection of social impact and influencer marketing, discussing how non-profits and creators can effectively collaborate to drive meaningful change. As consumers increasingly look for brands and influencers that align with their values, the role of cause-led campaigns has become crucial. We’ll delve into successful case studies, discuss challenges, and uncover best practices for fostering meaningful partnerships between creators and non-profit organisations.
14:30 - 15:15: How to Engage LGBTQ+ Audiences Authentically
Brands that celebrate Pride and LGBTQ+ inclusion risk backlash, not just from hate groups but also from the LGBTQ+ community itself. This has put off several businesses in the past couple of years from taking a public stance. This panel, led by agency Out Loud, explores how brands can authentically work with LGBTQ+ creators and remain consistent in their allyship rather than just in Pride Month, and this would include how brands collaborate with diverse influencers today.
15:30 - 16:15: Open Mic Session
The grand finale of our Voicebox! Reflect on the day’s conversations and discuss what they mean for the future. The Open Mic session invites participants to step up and share their thoughts, opinions, and even frustrations about the creator economy and influencer marketing. We want to spark productive conversations that drive change. Whether you’re voicing a concern or celebrating a success, this is your opportunity to start a fresh dialogue on the topics important to you.
