The Advertising Standards Agency (ASA) has given further clarification on its decision to uphold complaints against ads from Grace Beverley’s activewear brand TALA.

Beverley, who created the brand, posted two Instagram reels that were not obviously identifiable as ads. Whilst the ASA has banned plenty of posts from influencers that featured unidentifiable ads, and have also banned ads from an influencer for their brand, it was still a precedent-setting decision.
