In a strategic move to consolidate its diverse portfolio of services, Student Beans has announced its rebranding to Pion.
Over the past two decades, Student Beans has become a prominent player in the student discount and advertising space. However, with recent developments that stretch beyond the student discount space, the company has undergone a rebranding to reflect its growth.
Unveiled on January 23rd, 2024, Pion aims to streamline the company's offerings and help brands navigate the evolving landscape of consumer engagement.
Under the Pion umbrella, the company will integrate its well-established brands, including Student Beans, Voxburner, Beans iD, and the Youth Marketing Strategy (YMS) event series. Pion's core mission is to simplify its product range into three key areas: insights, advertising, and verification.
CEO Mike Eder expressed pride in the company's entrepreneurial spirit, which has propelled it beyond the student market. "It's led us to continually add more value to the Student Beans offering, and laterally develop technology, media, and service products that help marketers achieve more," said Eder.
While Pion expands its focus beyond traditional student-centric services, it remains committed to its roots as a dedicated leader in youth marketing insights. The company plans to support marketers with full-funnel youth marketing campaigns.
Eder continues, “With this change our mission evolves too. While Student Beans will still exist to empower students to thrive, for Pion our impact is broader. Pion exists to empower brands to shape a world where consumers thrive.
