The Influencer Marketing Awards’ judging day took place last week, and it was wonderful to see all of our esteemed judges come together to discuss this year’s best in class IMA entries, ultimately deciding who should take home the prestigious accolades in each category.

This year, we were thrilled to receive a huge amount of in-depth, creative entries which achieved outstanding results. Those who have made the shortlist particularly stood out to the judging panel as they demonstrated the true versatility of the influencer marketing space, and how the most innovative campaigns excelled with great success.

Matthew Wood, Founder of the Influencer Marketing Awards, says, “Campaigns this year showcased exceptional creativity and talent, not just from the creator side. The agencies and teams working within influencer marketing today continue to execute exceptionally smart, value-add campaigns that meet a wide range of client KPIs and objectives.

With the full shortlist now released, the anticipation is building for the ceremony that will be taking place on 9th June at the Sheraton Grand Hotel, London.

What do the judges have to say?

Jason Falls, Senior Influence Strategist at Cornett says, “As the influencer marketing industry matures, the role of an awards judge becomes more difficult. Each category results in having to split hairs to determine Gold, Silver and Bronze. And in most categories, you could give honours to three or four more entries. But that forces judgement to be more granular which holds us all to higher standards. So the awards themselves move the industry forward. That’s why I love being involved with the IMAs as a judge.”

Beckii Flint, Director and Co-Founder of Pepper Studio says that “It’s always such a delight to come together and recognise and celebrate the incredible work that our industry does. From small start-ups to international giants, influencer marketing continuously and effectively proves its place within media, grabbing attention and delivering emotion. Across the board I noticed campaigns paying greater care to inclusivity and diversity, which I hope only will continue to grow.”
