This year’s Influencer Marketing Show Global will be taking place virtually between the 13th – 15th of April. Following the triumphant launch of the virtual show last year, we are back to present an interactive event, running over three days, comprising over 30 carefully curated sessions to provide you with inspiration and knowledge to shape the future of your influencer marketing strategy.
Streaming the Influencer Marketing Show online will allow attendees from all over the globe to tune in. Sessions will run from 1 pm – 5 pm GMT during the three-day event, so put it in your diary now!
Introducing the first wave of speakers
Reena Rai – Creator Lead at Pinterest
Based in London, Reena paves the way for influencer marketing across the UK, Canada, and Australia at Pinterest, focusing on influencer engagement, onboarding, retention, and monetisation. Reena’s previous experience lies within the fashion and lifestyle industries, working for top brands such as Harrod’s, where she was responsible for curating brand-led content across the company site and digital marketing channels.
Reena is a creator herself, having written a blog for over a decade. She founded her blog Reena-Rai.com to speak passionately and creatively about her personal style and fashion inspirations. Reena’s blog has succeeded in being recognised by the likes of Grazia, The Telegraph, Sky News, Refinery29, The Independent, and more.
Scott Guthrie – Professional Advisor at The Influencer Marketing Lab
Scott is a widely respected influencer marketing veteran, with his list of achievements including; conference speaking, hosting the Influencer Marketing Lab podcast, and author of chapters for five business books on the subject of progressive public relations and influencer marketing. He is also co-chair of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations’ (CIPR) influencer marketing panel, a Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) member.
As well as speaking at this year’s Influencer Marketing Show, Scott will always be sitting on the judging panel for this year’s Influencer Marketing Awards, and contributing as an active member of the Talking Influence editorial board.
Oliver Lewis – Founder and Managing Director at THE FIFTH
Oliver began his media career at News UK, where he spent 15 years working in senior commercial roles overseeing the organisation’s commercial digital strategy, lead digital sales teams, and innovated product and platform strategies.
In 2019, Oliver founded influencer marketing agency, The Fifth, and a year later he launched The Fifth Talent. He now manages the strategy and day-to-day operations of the company, working with clients such as Disney, TAG Heuer, and Kendo brands.
As a member of the IMS advisory board, Oliver will be also be attending the show as a speaker this year.
Imogen Coles – Creator, OneSlowSunday
With nine years of industry knowledge, Imogen has used her learnings to build her own following as a creator, sharing content on her Instagram platform and YouTube channel – OneSlowSunday. Imogen’s bank of knowledge as a creator and agency professional will provide useful insights for this year’s IMS attendees.
Jenny Quigley-Jones – CEO at Digital Voices
After completing her master’s at Harvard University in Middle Eastern Studies, on a full scholarship from the Kennedy Memorial Trust, Jennifer worked at YouTube and has since founded and become CEO of Digital Voices, a London-based influencer marketing agency specialising in YouTube.
Digital Voices has expanded over the last two years and has been regognised by the likes of Forbes, and Sky News for their excellent work with clients including, but not limited to, Rolls-Royce, the Royal Air Force, and the NHS. Jennifer also speaks internationally, sharing her knowledge on how creators can grow on YouTube. Her knowledge has been recognised by ‘Campaign’ who this year, included Jennifer in their 30 under 30 list of the next generation of media talent.
Becky Owen – Head of Branded Content, EMEA at Facebook
Becky, a UK leading expert on influencer marketing and branded content, has had 12 years of experience working with prestigious clients such as The Walt Disney Company, Instagram, and Facebook. Becky is a highly respected thought-leader, speaker and consultant, and has been named one of the Top Global Trailblazers by Refinery 29.
Becky regularly speaks at The University of Oxford, as well as holding experience as a seasoned panelist and keynote speaker. Within her work, Becky is always looking towards the future, she is passionate about how the influencer marketing industry will develop, and how she can create innovative tools for such growth.
Thomas Walters – Founder and Chief Strategy Officer at Billion Dollar Boy
In 2014, Thomas joined forces with his business partner Ed East to launch creative agency, Billion Dollar Boy, which has recently been recognised by the Financial Times as the first and only creative agency in the publications list of the fastest-growing companies. Thomas oversees the brands strategy, planning and global partnerships.
Thomas brings a vast knowledge of politics to BDB, having previously worked in the office of Tony Blair. He also has experience in film, television, and advertising having previously worked in roles at NBCUniversal and Exclusive Media Group.
Rahul Titus – Head of Influence at Ogilvy
Rahul has been in the influencer marketing industry for over ten years now and embarked on his first experience working with Ogilvy as a media planning intern in 2013. Four years later he started the role that he is in currently, as head of influence at Ogilvy.
Rahul sets the strategic direction of the Ogilvy influence concept, covering the team’s full spectrum of influencer work, from celebrities all the way to micro-influencers. He is responsible for providing the best influencer marketing tools to names such as Bacardi, Unilever, Vans, TK Maxx, TikTok, Playstation, and many more.
We welcomed Rahul as our first guest on the Talking influence podcast, and now welcome him to speak at this year’s Influencer Marketing Show.
Emily Trenouth – Head of Influencer Marketing at MediaCom
During her time working in Financial Services, Emily started blogging as a creative outlet. During this time, Emily recognised the growth of influencer marketing and how influencers and brands could collaborate, leading her towards her first influencer marketing role at Takumi – one of the UK’s first influencer platforms.
Emily has since used her expertise to help launch the UK operation for influencer and content marketplace, TRIBE. She went on to spearhead TRIBE’s US operation, where she lead partnerships with agencies and brands such as P&G, Unilever, WPP, Nestle, and Diageo.
Back in the UK, Emily is now head of influencer at MediaCom, one of the agency’s fastest-growing divisions within content marketing.
Jason Falls – Senior Influence Strategist at Cornett
Jason applies his expertise in digital marketing and thought leadership to his role as senior influence strategist for US agency, Cornett. Jason aims to empower, excite and inform those around him. He shares his thoughts and knowledge through his podcast ‘Winfluence’ which accompanies his book, Winfluence – Reframing Influencer Marketing to Ignite Your Brand.
Jason is a seasoned professional in conference speaking worldwide, and this year, we invite him to provide the IMS audience with great value in information and advice.
Will Fisher – Global Partners Lead at TRIBE
As global partnerships lead at TRIBE, Will manages key partnerships with clients including Facebook, Diageo, PepsiLipton, and Logitech. He works passionately to show that creators are the key to delivering quality content in a quick and cost-efficient manner.
Will’s interest and knowledge of the media sphere as a whole, specifically digital, content, and social media, has allowed him to travel the world, offering his expertise to leading global agencies and publishers in both the UK and Australia.
San Sareen – Customer Success at Impact
This year, we welcome San back as an IMS speaker after he spoke on the ‘Forecasts for the Coming Transformation in Influencer Marketing’ at last year’s debut. San’s experience and knowledge lie in SaaS, having worked in this area for seven years. In his current role at Impact, San works to combine influencer and Saas propositions.
San leads Impact’s Mediarails and ACTIVATE products across EMEA, working with the focus on how we can bring influencers closer to the partnership channel.
Maira Genovese – Founder and CMO at MG Empower
Maira’s extensive experience in the digital marketing space has enabled her to become the founder and CMO of the global influencer marketing agency, MG Empower. Maira has applied her experience working with brands such as American Express, Yves Saint Laurent, and Burberry towards building a new-age, integrated agency. The principle of MG Empower is to tell authentic stories to empower both brands and consumers.
Along with the MG Empower team, Maira has already counseled leading brands like TikTok, Chopard, Ford, Porsche, Bumble, Biossance, StarzPlay, Snapchat, and Deliveroo.
Sasha Louise Pallari – Makeup Artist, Model, and Creator of #FILTERDROP
Trained as a makeup artist, and working as a curve model, Sasha launched her #FILTERDROP campaign last year, encouraging others to feel confident in their own skin. Sasha is passionate about showcasing her skills in makeup, creating transparent content aimed at educating and empowering her audience to look past unrealistic beauty standards and embrace their true selves. Sasha is determined to use her space online to make other people feel incredible and to realise their ability.
We welcome Sasha to this year’s Influencer Marketing Show to highlight the importance of authenticity within the influencer marketing space, providing a wealth of experience and knowledge to our attendees.
Sophie Hardie – Client Director at The Goat Agency
Joining the team at Goat around four years ago, Sophie has evolved within the business. She has worked towards establishing and growing the strategy at Goat, as well as helping to shape the creative and design teams.
Now working client-side, Sophie has watched how both the agency and influencer industries have developed and matured over the years. Sophie has gained insights and experience within the sphere, aiding her to build top-level strategies for Global tier one clients, based on strategic business needs.
Emma Harman – President EMEA at Whalar
Now in the role of President of Whalar EMEA, Emma has previous experience in leading commercial efforts globally for Universal Music Group, as well as launching Talenthouse – a platform for artists to collaborate with brands.
For global award-winning technology-powered influencer agency, Whalar, Emma blends her experience in the world of talent, creativity, and technology to champion voices from all backgrounds and disciplines as an effective medium for brand storytelling.
Katie Nelson – Influencer Controller at Sky
Now in the role of influencer controller at Sky, Katie applies her previous experience in digital branding which was partly developed after leading the commercial branding of Jamie Oliver’s digital channels. Katie then went on to co-found Delightful Media, an influencer and creative agency.
Since joining the team at Sky in November, Katie heads up the influencer activations for Sky Entertainment, leveraging the brand to understand and utilise influencer as a platform.
Rupa Shah – Founder and Director of Hashtag Ad Consulting
Rupa is the founder and director of Hashtag Ad Consulting, which takes a unique approach to demystifying advertising regulations across the globe. Rupa has worked closely with influencers, ad agencies, and top brands including MADE.COM and Benefit Cosmetics to embed compliance throughout the marketing process and, ultimately, to help brands and influencer marketers protect their reputation.
As well as having 13 years of experience working with Advertising Standards Authorityprior to founding Hashtag Ad, Rupa has recently become a member of the Committee of Advertising Practice’s Promotional Marketing & Direct Response Panel and Klarna’s Influencer Council. Maintaining a relationship with global advertising regulatory bodies has enabled Rupa to speak at numerous international conferences, focusing on advertising compliance.
