According to new data from the IAB, US annual creator economy ad spend is set to rise by 18% in 2026, which presents a significant opportunity to the affiliate channel.
The report forecasts rising ad spend on creator partnerships: $13.2B on social media content amplification (+48%), $11.1B beyond social (+56%), $11.6B on content creation (+21%), and $7.9B on intentional ad adjacencies (+33%).
Creators saw strong performance across Cyber Week and this is going to continue into 2026. If they are not yet part of your affiliate programme, now is the time to step into the space.
