Happy Tuesday!

We are officially on the countdown now. There are just 10 working days left before PI LIVE Europe!

If you've already got your pass, make sure you maximise your trip with the app. Plan your week, arrange meetings, pick your sessions, and decide whether you'll be battling it out over spicy chicken wings, or beer tasting, or bowling, or all three, at the afterparty.

If you're on the Hero100 Shortlist, you may want to keep 1.45 PM - 2.45 PM October 21st free on your calendar for now, as we'll be throwing a celebration mixer for the Affiliate 50, where you can come and mingle with other Heroes, enjoy champagne, and collect your special accolade.

If you haven't yet got your pass, there are remaining spaces left, but we're almost at capacity. Live without regrets and collect one for yourself here.

Now, on with the news!

Tip of the Week

Stay at the top of your game

It seems like we're only just coming out of the wave of 'how to understand Gen Z' infopieces. Already, the next wave is building, focused on Gen Alpha.

Gen Alpha are the cohort born between 2010 to 2024. The oldest are starting to wield serious spending power – apparently around $100 billion, thanks to their many side hustles.

So, how do you connect with Gen Alpha?

Well, a good start would be to understand their unique lingo, which is baffling even to members of Gen Z.

Social media consultant Natalie Podaima shared a dissection of the Gen Alpha rose: 🥀

It's more layered than you might think.

Podaima says it simultaneously means 'Lol' but also, “Head down in disappointment with a hint of embarrassment”, and “It’s sad but not super sad.”

Overwhelmingly, though, she found it referred to: “I feel like I understand the sentiment but can’t articulate it.”

If Gen Alpha’s in your audience, make sure you’re speaking their emoji language — or risk getting left on read.
