✨ Campaign of the week: Robert Irwin x Bonds

Robert Irwin, son of Steve Irwin, can usually be found petting a koala or rescuing a tortoise, just like his dad. But this week, he's been modelling Australian Bonds underwear with a snake wrapped around him.

The campaign was a stroke of genius on all sides. Bonds has kickstarted a new era for Robert Irwin, de-centring from wholesome wildlife content and turning him into an Australian heartthrob, while also promoting their brand.

It's not just Irwin's national treasure status that makes the campaign so successful. Bonds are positioning themselves as the number one Australian underwear brand, so the outdoor setting, Australian wildlife and "down under" slogan all fit perfectly with that message. The only appropriate response here is "Crikey!"
