Tip of the Week
Stay at the top of your game
Be very careful where you attach affiliate links in content.
Ishtvan Torpoi shared a useful article on how to balance affiliate marketing with pristine SEO.
If a brand works with multiple content affiliates in the right way, then their programme can boost upper-funnel traffic as well as bottom-end sales.
Follow SEO best practices to make sure the content is ranking well in Google. Ensure that affiliate links are used precisely and sparingly on words that will have no impact on SEO, like 'Buy here'.
Keywords related to SEO should be left alone – and also used infrequently. Keyword stuffing will penalise your content.
When executed properly, this approach can drive brand awareness, loyalty, and conversions.
