Tip of the Week

Stay at the top of your game

For affiliate & performance marketers, the influencer space is still a bit like a greyed-out area on a video game map. It's unfamiliar territory.

But the worlds are colliding more these days. If you're not already starting to dip your toes in the influencer pool, you might be soon.

So, to begin with, how much should you be charging influencers for their time?

Passionfroot released some useful benchmarking data.

Alex Lull shared the insights to LinkedIn. Presumably, these are the flat-fee charges per post/promotion.

  • YouTube: Nano influencers charge under $500, while mega influencers (1M+ followers) cost $20k+.
  • Instagram: Nano campaigns start at under $100, rising to $10k+ for mega influencers.
  • TikTok: Micro influencers charge $500–$1.2k, while mega creators command $5k+.
  • LinkedIn: Influencers with niche B2B authority often exceed standard rates, with averages at $250–$2.5k depending on reach.
  • Newsletters: Expect CPMs of $10–$30 or CPCs of $1–$5.
